Grateful

Today, I'm grateful.

I'm grateful for a car that runs.
I'm grateful for a house to live in.
I'm grateful for a loving family.
I'm grateful for a job.
I'm grateful for a steady paycheck in this world of unsteadiness.
I'm grateful for a healthy body and a somewhat sound mind.
I'm grateful for technology.
I'm grateful for modern medicine.
I'm grateful for my exercise bike.
I'm grateful for caffeine.
I'm grateful for life.

I'm not particularly grateful that it's Monday...but there's always opposition.

I've got my "Best of the 80's" station on, and life is good.
